In recent years, the industrialization and increasing individualization of Korean society have had a significant impact on the formation of intimate relationships, leading to a surge in demand for lifestyle media that address mental health issues. In particular, the television landscape has witnessed the proliferation of counseling talk shows that deal with self-actualization, mental well-being, and pathological concerns. These programs emphasize the rationalization of emotions as a path to happiness and success in social life.
